mat.zine #05
Attention!Roll up roll up! mat.zine number five is here. Many thanks to those who contributed – it seems that there is plenty of interest to keep this pamphleteering alive and healthy. Apologies too, for a considerable delay on this editor’s part – nothing to blame but the peripatetic ways of late.

Enjoy this modest publication, print a few out, and give them your friends – and encourage them to submit something for the next edition. mat.zine number six soon brings a new editor, and a fresh call for submssions, so watch this space…

mat.zine #05 call for submissions
The theme which will frame the artistic, philosophical and poetical exploits for this next edition of mat.zine is a single word; views. The original group involved in mat.zine has now disbanded and ventured to different regions of our shrinking terra firma, as indeed has the greater cohort of DSA 2010 graduates. Most have before us new cities and towns, landscapes and vistas, or at least new awareness of the places we already know most intimately (ed. Dundee perhaps?).
The choice of media, method and motives are yours to each decide. Photography, writing and drawing are the obvious ones. All the editor asks is that you respond in some way to the word; seriously, profoundly, even ironically. Contribute as little or as much as you like-each person has at least one side of an a6; more if a greater ambition is pressing.
The submission deadline for this edition is the 1st September.
Content may be emailed to the editor or uploaded to the google docs folder-ask and I will invite!
The call for submissions is extended to anybody who might be interested. Architectural adventurers and intellectual pugilists alike, all are welcome under the infinite umbrella of mat.zine!
