Thanks Sam – delighted to hear from you. Glad too that you are interested in what we are doing here with mat.zine.

Our intention for the publication, at least at this point, is to allow it to develop as naturally as possible. It may have begun within a group of M.Arch students in Dundee – but we are now receiving submissions from other geographies and disciplines, including creative writing, fine art and archaeology.

So, with regard to developing a friendship with your Æ institute, a project which sounds intriguing – you and your colleague could form a submission for an future edition, or could even curate a full publication cycle. I’d like to include a link on the right to any website/blog you might have, so do let me know if one exists yet.

I look forward to such collaborative adventures…

    Ian

Fergus has just told me about Mat.zine. I thinks it’s wonderful for many different reasons. Me and a colleague are forming an institute called Æ. It looks at schools of thought within architecture, rather than pedagogy and course structure. We’d very much like to be a friend of your project.

    Let us know how.
